with my new warrior i have been noticeing that every once in a while the chain makes this little slapping noise. i think it is just slapping up aginst the chain rollers but am not sure. the tension is fine at arond 35mm vertical slack... so is that normal?

 

Yes, it probably shows up when riding over rough terrain & the swing arm moves up or down. The tension is right in the middle range and depending on how many hours are on the quad will no doubt require an adjustment after it stretches a little.
