Default Warrior starting problem

Last Sunday I was in the middle of the first moto at a local mx race and there was a sharp downhill corner. I hit the back brake and didn't grab the clutch in time. Anyway, the engine stalled. I thought, no problem, I'll just fire it up and keep going. I pushed the button and nothing happened. At that point, people were going by me so I couldn't hear anything. I couldn't get it going, so we pushed it off the track. After the race was over, I checked it out. All it would do was make a clicking noise in the starter relay. When I push the start button, it just clicks really fast, like 10-20 times a second. We were able to get it going by jumping it down a hill and it would run ok, just not start back up on it's own. I am thinking that the starter relay is bad, but I really don't know much about it. Also, I thought that since it happened during a race when I was beating on it pretty hard, that something might have come loose, but I couldn't find anything. Anybody have any experience with this type of problem? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Shawn

to see if it's the relay, jump out the 2 terminals with OLD screwdriver, watch out it sparks....if when you jump it out, it turn sover fine, then it's the relay, other then that, a low battery can do that, or a bad starter.

Sounds like a bad relay, or very posibly a loose connection at the battery, iive had it happen a few times and i just had to tighten up the connectors. Ive also had the connectors break off the wire and lose power all together. Might also want to test the battery and make sure you dont have a dead cell.
