dripping oil

Default dripping oil

i have a 95 banshee and the oil is dripping out of where the shifterpost comes out of the cases. is there an o ring seal or something? any info would be appreciated. thanx

Shift shaft seal...replace it and ride some more[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Easy project...just need to pull out the old seal(don't wedge it out with a screwdriver and mess up your sealing surface...take a small sheet metal screw or two and screw them into the seal a little and then pull it out by the "handles" with a pair of pliers
install the new seal in a clean surface with a little grease...tap it in with a socket just small enough to fot into the seal area...tap it until it's flush
