I know how you feel my cousin is getting ready to have to do the same thing, and like I told him the bad thing is.... you can look foreward to the same thing right down the road. There HAS GOT TO BE A FIX FOR THIS!!!!

Since I did mine, I adjusted the idle up just a little and when I start it, I put the bike in neutral, pull in the clutch and stay on the starter until it starts fully then release the starter button and never had the kick back since. I seen a post on this awhile back and have been doing this since and its been working out great!

wshrdskin - It sure did surprise me when mine popped off LOL!! it sounded dangerously fast!

That Rubicon bearing will work...it's only the bearing portion that works

So Jay is the Rubicon bearing STRONGER or NOT? Or is it just cheaper? Just trying to find out what the best route to take when we replace his.

Raptorjay is it the little pieces in the one way that work, or the whole center part? How much does it list for? And do you have a part number? Thanks.

I can't guarantee that it is stronger, however it certainly does look tougher...it is only the inner hub portion that works, but Honda sells it seperate for about $60...over the counter
