Default Questions about Banshee shocks?

I just put some used 2001 stock Banshee shocks on my '03 Warrior this morning, because I was told it would improve handling. I just put them on, and all I have done is bounce around in the driveway. I have a couple questions:

Should the Banshee shocks have a softer feel than my '03 stock Warrior shocks?

When the shocks compress and rebound I hear a "whistle" sound out of one?, maybe both? I didn't hear this in my Warrior shocks at all. I don't know anything about Banshees, and little about quad shocks, is this normal?

The shocks are straight, and in good looking condition, minus some rock chips. Are my shocks "blown" or is this just the way Banshee shocks work? The seem to spring back just fine and quickly, only they are softer than the warrior's and they whistle. Please respond so I know if I got good shocks or not.

Default Questions about Banshee shocks?

I had a chance to ride it around the yard a little bit. Haven't had a chance to go to fast or jump anything (small yard). When I use the front breaks it dives in the front end pretty bad? I only put front banshee shocks on it, not rear.

Does this sound right? or wrong? Anyone?

Still "whistles" when I bounce it up and down in the front.

Hmm... Sounds like you got bad shocks. They shouldn't whistle that's for sure.

Also, whoever told you that Banshee shocks would improve handling was pulling your leg. They pretty much suck.

when you said used you really meant it, mine used to whistle like that but then they broke on the mx track when i hit a jump.(no i didnt case anything). they were made to fit the banshees specs for the front , the nose on a banshee is heavy so the rebound wont be as harsche as it is on the warrior.
