i am thinking of getting a stage 1 hot cam and am not sure if i should get a piston. What piston should i buy. Were is the best place on the net to get a JE 11:1 piston. Or is it ok to go with a wiseco 11:1. What do you recommed and should i since im puting a cam in put a piston in too.

Definitely go with the JE. Have someone competent make sure the piston has enough clearance in the bore. I got mine straight from JE and my cam straight from Hot Cams.....they are available at more places now though.

 

I would PM 14mins. He can give you a good price, and all the help you need along the way. make sure to buy new gaskets if you do. I'd do the piston while you have it apart. definately JE 11:1

 

JE sells theirs for around $160 if anyone can beat it post a link (I know there is some)
And for the HotCams Magic Racing sells them for $125 or you can catch ebay for $110.
