i've always heard that you should use the same brand oil every time you change the oil. is this true?

the reason i ask this is b/c the Honda GN4 oil that i have always used is $4.50/quart! i was wondering if it would be alright to use Yamalube which is only $2.99 at my local dealer.

 

it should be just fine as long as they both have the same labels and stuff, like both are synthetic and have same stuff in them ect. as long as they oil TYPE stays the same, it should be a-ok
