kodiak 400 or 450?
I bought the 450 and love it. After doing some serious trail riding I don't think I would want to live without low range. When the going gets hairy you need the extra torque. The locker is cool but not necessary in most situations. If it comes down to the 400 or the 450 as your choices I would buy the 450. I think it is well worth the extra money spent. Good luck in your decision.

You cant go wrong with the 450. Its a miny grizzly! I wonder if they will put independant rear suspension for next year? Yeah i won a qaud at a rally (honda 350es 4x4) and didnt put a single km on it before I taded for the 450 kodiak. A 1000 dollar difference, And i havent looked back. If you love the grizzly 660 you will love the kodiak 450. Anybody have any kind of problems whatsoever with theirs yet? I waould appreciate you telling so i can look out for it if anything happens. You guys like Bearclaw tires? They are my favourite.
Get out there and ride!

I am quite happy with my 450. The only prob so far was the steering kept loosening up after every ride which was easily fixed by replacing the stock fuji lock nut and pin with a castle nut and cotter pin. The locking diffrential is great when you get in the slick stuff.
