OT: Whats your favorite drink ???
#51
Found a new favorite this last weekend.
It was my birthday, so the friends or at least thats what they call themselves.......kept buying me drinks.
After a couple of draughts and fruity cocktails, I hit the hard tack!
Ever heard of a "Flaming Lamboughini"............If you have, I recommend trying it, but not if you plan using your legs!
It consists of 9 tots of alchohol.
2 shots Taquilla, 1 shot straw rum, 2 red sambuca, 2 blue sambuca, 2 white sambuca , 2 shots of cream.
This has to be drunk with the following prereqrisuites.
A lovely young waitress, matches and a straw.
Start off with the taquilla/straw rum. While attempting to chat the waitress up without upsetting the girlfriend, get her to light the drink. While it is flaming, immediately proceed to drink through the straw while all other drinks are added to the concockshion without stopping till it is all gone.
Not having stopped there, I had a few more of my favourite beers.....Castle Lager.
At least after that evening my so called friends would'nt let me drive home. I couldnt even find my car!
Having shared that with you......Please dont tell anyone, as my AA group feels we are making progress
Turning the big 28, I am not as young as I used to be, so naturally took 2 days to recover.
I dont think I'll ever grow up!

As far as beer which if i'm drinking is what I drink 99% of the time, I won't drink any light beer unless i'm out and a buddy has some. I hate the watery taste. My favorites are killians irish red, samadams boston lager, and I've been drinking tequiza it's got like a lemony taste (not the best beer ever but different). I'll buy budweiser still to it's pretty cheap compared to all the micro brewed stuff. I hate bud light it takes way to many of them to get me feeling good and I hate the watery taste. If I'm drinking liquor I like jim bean and coke. I'll drink my wife's smirnoff triple black that stuff tastes pretty damn good.

Michael, I brewed at Hamilton BrewWorks in Hermosa Beach the first night it was open many years ago. My buddy had a 150 year old German recipe from his great grandfather (brewmaster Bearbower). The owner of BrewWorks was there that night and we drank sample brews all night and modified the recipe. We were WASTED!! When we bottled it and tried it, it was the best dam beer I ever had. Problem was that we never wrote down the mods to the recipe My company pays for me to brew every thanksgiving and I bring them to our christmas party. A yard of beer. What a beautiful site.
MichealAZ, who here in the valley has brew by the yard or half yard?
I made some homebrew once. It was the worst stuff ever.
My neighbor [in Chicago]was from Heidelberg and he used to brew some mean stuff. He also worked for the importer of Warsteiner, another plus.
