Which pipe and header would be the best.....the POWERBOMB and Titanium 4 from FMF, or the GYTR from Yahmaha? Which would be the best for a 03' Raptor?

I have never used the GYT-R but I have the FMF Power bomb and it and the FMF muffler is 100% crap!!!IMO It leaks, rust, doesn't produce much power for how loud it is, the end cap broke, the fit isn't very good, ......you want me to go on?LOL

I would say anything over the FMF or Big Gun(they rust REAAAL bad).

I put the GYT-R carbon fiber pipe and the GYT-R head pipe on mine made one heck of a difference I think it's got a great sound to it (VERY loud) and it runs very well. Much lighter than the stock set and I feel looks are important so i went the carbon rather than the boring aluminum look. I have since sold the head pipe to a buddy, but the muffler is still in place and i am looking again to replace the factory with the GYT-R.

 

Nice...here's another question though...what about the Alba Racing Pipe Set, that includes the jets and what not...there are three stages...anyone tried them?

 

I dont know how the Alba pipe is for the raptor but I have it for my wolverine it sounds awesome and produced a noticeable amount of power. The pipe is rather chincy though its made of real soft aluminum and doesnt mate to well with my head pipe. I had to heat it up and stretch the ends out to make it fit better.

I have the FMF power Bomb header and The Blue Tit. silencer and I love the sound and power, I'm also a somewhat built motor. I don't have the same rust problem as Ward though not to say it couldn't happen I just keep mine pretty dry and clean. Hope this helps.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
