Default New machine to buy

Alright... i have a few questions concerning a machine i would like to buy..
the machine is a Yamaha Blaster. i havnt found one yet, but i am looking for one with a price range from 1,000 to 1,700. in posts ive seen that people mix their gas, is that required or is it a mod? how are they in mud? around here we have about a foot or two of water in some spots of the trails. would a blaster be build okay for that kind of terrain? how are the brakes on the 1995 - 2002 machines? ive heard rumor that once they get wet, they are gone.. please help.

thnx.
Matt

Don't know much about Blasters, but I do know they are 2-strokes and do require you to mix oil with the gasoline.....that's as much as I know about them...Sorry I can't tell you more..

Well, blaster come with an oil injector that eliminates the need to mix the gas with the oil. Before you should buy it though ask if it has an oil injection block off just to make sure, if it doesnt get one because some blasters oil injection have failed....!

Blasters mix their own oil. The only way you mix the oil is if you buy a oil block-off for it.

Buy gas and go. No mixing required!

By a Banshee and forget the blaster...... once you get used to ridding it you'll want more power....
