I want to put a k and n air filter, degree key, and dg silencer on my blaster. do i need to rejet for this? cant i just put these things on and it will be ok to leave it like that? and if i do put a jet kit in my blaster, can i put it on along with all these other things and have no problems ?

Default blaster jetting question

Blasters are pretty rich from the factory with the 230 main. If you look at FMF online they have a jet chart. Your elevation is fairly low so I would bet you'd want to go to like a 260 for that unit. Just pick up that main jet from your local dealer for a couple bucks and forego the whole jet kit idea unless you do more mods. Take the snorkel off the front of your airbox and cut a half dozen 1" holes in the lid and use those filtered plugs that pass air. On the bottom side of the airbox lid cut a hole or two in the long passage the air travels through from front to back. Helps wake 'em up--they're pretty choked off. Just my opinion!
