Default Elkas or Works?

As previously mentioned, Elka's are far better, but Works are cheaper (in all senses of the word). It all boils down to your priorities. If you are building a quad to race, buy the Elka's. If you are building a play quad for trail riding, buy the Works and spend the extra money on some new tires or a wider axle. If you are all about people complimenting your quad and asking you questions about how much you have into it, get the Elka's. If you want an average looking quad get the Works.

BTW, if you don't have the money for everything all at once, get the FRONT Elka shocks first. When you order them have them set up for +2 A-arms. The ride will be FAR better than stock, the front end will set lower, and when you step up to extended a-arms your shocks will be ready for them. The stock rear shock is pretty good on the raptor and I would not replace it until you step up to a longer swingarm or until you have all the other improvements made.
