Has anyone EVER seen a fast warrior that blows quads away? Well this weekend i saw a warrior at a drag strip it waaaaaaas crazy fast im wondering if this could be a mimic quad or sleeper quad where the rider mods the plastic to fit another ATV.... well just wondering whats the fastest warrior you have ever seen?

About 4 years ago i saw a worrior with a 426 engine in it at the mx track. That thing ripped man, was actually laying down some smack on all the 250r s out there.

 

I was at LA Dunes and a Warrior pulled up beside me at the drags. I just laughed to myself until we took off. He jumped out about 2 bikes and I couldnt catch him. I later talked to him and he said he had an XR650 with some hotter cams in it. It ran good. REAL GOOD. My DS is far from stock and on Alky. I never beat him the whole weekend.

 

What did the engine look like? If it was single cylinder with a big cam cover on the left side it was a warrior engine. Coulda been a 500 kit on alcy.

 

I have a 98 Warrior and I honestly don't think that a Warrior platform is a good one to spend lots of money on to make fast. That is probably why you don't see many heavily modded Warriors. The Chassis and suspension is so outdated that you would basically have to redo the entire machine to make it something competitive.

Don't try to make something it is not meant to be. A Warrior is pretty good for a beginner or intermediate rider, but is not a seriously competitive machine on any level.

Not trying to stir up any poop, just commenting on why I think there are so few "fast" Warriors.

Thats a good point. I guess I was just making the overall observation regarding modding bikes for all around performance. But if you are just going to drag race, I guess it doesn't matter much....

 

i think i raced the same warrior that mrmeaner raced, it was at lil sahara in oklahoma and he had an xr650 on it and he said he was from houston it was pretty quick, i got a warrior too and there is no way you can make one fast with the stock motor.

Your DS is probably the fastest DS I've raced, nice bike.
Also some pretty fast DS's at Little Sahara but I think yours is faster.
