Diff oil

Default Diff oil

for diff oil on my wolverine it says to use hypiod or something like that what is the difference in that and regular gear oil?

I have no clue what the differance is. We use Slick 50 in our Wolvy diff's.

Default Diff oil

I use Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil in my rear diff. The front diff is a limited slip type, so you must use a limited slip type gear oil , or else supplement your hypoid gear oil with a limited slip additive (as I do). Failure to use the correct front diff oil will result in hard steering.
