For those who have questions about jetting with certain set-ups, I have a 2002 Raptor with a Racepak EGT and I just finished rejetting my machine for my new GYTR jet kit.

I have a Yoshi full system with a Graydon aluminum airbox and a 250R foam filter, and I am at 8000 ft above sea level. Also, I recalibrated the floats on both of my Mikuni carbs.

My final jetting was 165 / 170 main jets with the clip on the third position from the top on the needle. With these settings, I was reaching a maximum exhaust temperature of 1390F at full throttle and 1270F between 1/4 and 3/4; 1450F is the exhaust temperature limit for four strokes. When I was running at 160 /165 main jets, I was reaching temperatures of 1450F three seconds into full throttle.

With the 165 / 170 main jets, the Raptor runs great with loads of power, and I am glad that I switched over to the GYTR jet kit.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

heY whATS uP i JUST GO T THE yoshimura pro comp complete system exaust and i want to run it with an aluminum air box. first of all would changin the air box to an aluminum be the same as using the stock air box with no lid? and colud you tell me what were your jet and mixture screw settings?
