Default buying atvs have a couple question

The 250ex has too be an option as well. Mild, bulletproof engine and low maintenance shaft drive will be operating for years. I would put some weight on the light front end too keep things calm on the trails for her.

I was going to get the warrior because it would stay up with the raptor a little better. The 400ex doesn't have rev. or i would get that. It would probably be easier for her to ride a 250ex thoght. Im think about getting the atvs at Lake Hill motors in corinth, Ms. It's about a 8 hour drive for me ,but i will be saving about $900 for each atv.

I think the warranty is a bunch of crap... Spend the extra money on better riding gear - sounds like you are newcomers.

It sounds like about 50/50 on dont and do on the warranty. Has anybody got the warranty and got good services or bad services?

I got it on my SXViper and I blew a hole out the bottom of the case I had some good mods on it making it push over 150hp. They replaced the bottom end of the motor no questions asked. But I am good friends with the dealer (I buy a new sled everyother year.) so I am not sure how much that had to do with it or not. Since you are getting 4 strokes they are pretty reliable and I am not sure if I would waste the money on them. But up to you get if you don't want to hassel with breaks.

These warranties are just another insurance, right? I hate freakin insurance! To me it's like betting against yourself. Still you gotta have some insurance, so I ask myself: Can i afford a catastrophic repair bill on whatever it is? If no, then buy the ins. If you can afford the big, unlikely bill, then don't buy it. self insured.
How much is a new raptor motor? 3,000?how much is the warranty?500? I'll take that bet! and keep my 500 in my pocket.
She'll be able to keep up as well on a 250 as on a 350, not like you are riding 60 miles at top speed anyway.
If you are into a warrior, i'll go $2700 for my 2001 in great shape.

sont get the warranty IMHO. Do get your quad from lakehillmotors.com - theyre practically down the street from you and are good people to deal with, and most important of all, the cheapest in the country. Call ahead and make sure they have what you want in stock.

I have heard nothing but good thing for from that place. And it does have the best prices that i could see. Still not 100% sure if my going to get the warranty or not. I just now my luck i dont and something happens to the atvs. But i think yamaha has good atvs and should last a long time. I could take that money and get a nice pipe. Tundrsotto did you buy from Lake hill motors. If so how did you talk to over there.

by your previous post i would say 'GET THE WARRANTY' YAMAHA is unpredictable when it comes to warranty items. I dont know if it's a dealer thing or what. read the waranty, and if it excludes too much, you're gonna get a bunch of mail in the next month with aftermarket warranties anyway. and that price is VERY negotiable, you may even getr them to throw it in...i tried!

dont be afraid to counteroffer, it has saved me a ton and i'm shy!
seems age and poverty is beating the shyness out of me...hehe

make em throw in new helmets at least! they wont let ya walk, the trick is WHEN ya nail em, when theyve done 99% of the paperwork, but YOU havent signed anything. they are stuck. theyll do it. be bold. give it a try! and enjoy yer quads, you are gonna have a ball, welcome to the club! ;p
