I was going to buy a raptor and a warrior a husband and wife thing. Where i was thing about buying my atv is about 8 hour from where i live so i email the place some question. They told me there is a title fee and he talked about a 3 year warranty. Is the warranty worth it and how much do they charge and how much is the title fee? Yamaha only has 180 days warranty?

Yes the warranty would be an investment. Get a extended warranty if you can spring it. You just don't know what could happen when it comes down to atv's.
If you work on your own quads then don't get it, just the standard warranty would be fine.

I didn't get the YES at first, I went back and got it once I hit 5 mos on the Grizz. It cost a little more then. If you want it, get it when you buy your bike... it is cheaper

IMHO the Yamaha warrenty is crap. What are they going to cover? No matter what they WILL try their hardest to blame you for ANY & ALL damage or problems. Like I said thats just my opinon.

I bought a polaris and got the extended warrenty on it and it was worth it becuase it covers everything big ex. transmission, engine, etc... I'm not sure about yamaha but if it is a 3 year warranty its worth it. peace

It is a 3year warranty for $588 add on to the 180 days. So Ward did you get the warranty and they gave you a hard time about getting something fixed.

Hey now, only buy a warrior if the price is $3500 or less. You know they lowered the retail for 04 right? Used warriors lose value FAST. You sure don't need a warranty for it either. Unless your lady has big hands might oughta reconsider that machine anyway. The clutch engagement is very loong and not so female user friendly, IMO. In fact, i don't know her, and all are different, but an automatic, like Z250 makes many women much more comfortable and eager to ride alot.
As for the rap, well, get what you want. If you plan to mod it at all don't bother with the warranty cause Yam will stiff you. That advice is worth at least a nickel!
