Default Wolverine

Hey Yamaha guys, I`m looking to trade for or buy a wolverine since my wife has essentially taken over my rubicon. Are there any "items" I need to be looking for when I start looking? Are the 4 wheel drives in these tight? Over all are they pretty quick?

Yeah, they are the a fast 4x4. Top speed should be slightly higher than the Rubicons. Mod it up a little, it makes it a really fun machine. There are alot of aftermarket parts availible. I dont know what you mean by the 4x4 tight? The Wolverine in my opinion handles better then the Rubicon as far as fast trail riding goes, its easier to ride fast. I have had a chance to compare the two and the rubicon is a very nice machine, I really liked it and if I were getting a bike to do work of hunt with, that would be it. Too Heavy for fast riding though. The rubicon rides better at low speed and is quieter than the wolverine, but just isnt as much fun to take out and blast through the trails. The Rubicon without a doubt had more power down low and more torque but a drag race would be close in stock form. I didnt drag race it but I figure by riding both that the Rubicon is going to pull the wolverine off the line slightly if you start in 1st gear but the Wolverine would have a little more mid to top power and eventually pass it back and have a slightly faster top speed. If you are good at shifting, you can start the wolverine in 2nd gear and make it neck and neck. The Wolverine is a totally different animal than the Rubicon.
