IT was street legal to the max, mirror, lic plate etc.

 

You can do that here in Wyoming, I think wyoduner runs his banshee on the street sometimes. I had plates on mine at first, because they did not have the sticker program running yet. I never ran mine on the street, well except for by my house, but thought about it many times.

I could never figure out how to attach the car seat for the kids though [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img].

Once in awhile I see someone running down the street, but not very often.

Wouldnt the insurence rates be SKY HIGH? I'd love to do it tho.... just gear it to where it would max out at about 85 to run on the interstate.... that would be bada$$

 

I was on my way to the beach with my rappy in the bed of my truck..........I wanted to see how fast it was top end so I pulled over on the interstate and threw it out of the bed..........and topped it out at 84.........rode for about 3 more miles and loaded it back up............

where i am from here in Ontario,Canada, we live in an area where the cops are rarely present on 2 lane highways. My cousin, with his suped to the nuts raptor, and me with my 450 go out on a regular basis to show up cars and trucks. We once raced a mustang and i cleaned up on him off take off and most of the way through the powerband. We could tell by the look on his face that he was really suprised!!! it was hilarious!!

 

Yep, I ride the ole Banshee on the streets sometimes. I used to live out of town and would fly on the 2 lane roads - I bet the people in the cars and trucks couldn't believe a quad was on their butt at 70 MPH or so... Still, I don't think I would have the huevos to do that in rush hour traffic onthe freeway.

 

how do you find out if you can street legal quads in your state?? do you look up the secratary of state or dmv????

 

u can get a kit to make it legal, signal lights, license plates some other crap, u need a certain license and it needs to pass emissions test etc

 

ya id like to know too i think that that would be pretty tight to street race quads.
