Thanks for replying Ridley. I wasn't sure if you would as I'm sure it's still tough to think about. There's lessons to be learned from every accident and some things just can't be stopped. I think you're right.... when you're numbers up, it's up. It just sucks when one has some much more life to live. Good luck to you and the rest of you family.

Ridley, I did read that and I also read it on a different site on the net. I think it called him the fastest atv rider in the world, is that right or was it someone else? I saved it to my favorites list because it was very sad and I showed it to my step-brother. I really respect you for even being able to step on a quad again. My cousin was about 14, I didn't know him real well we were like second cousins, but he was going to fast around his dad's barn not knowing what was on the other side and he pierced a fork on a tracktor through him. His mom heard it and found him, it was one of the worst experiences I had heard of around here or anywhere for that matter. I told myself later after I got my rancher that I would hammer home the fact in my son to be careful. I know that isn't going to stop them always as I'm sure my cousins dad told him to be careful but it's all you can do. Your brother from what I read was a great rider and for whatever reason God wanted to take him. It don't make since to me why when they're young like these two stuff happens like this, but I really think they're in a better place. It's just us that it's so hard on. God bless Ridley and anyone on here who has lost anyone close to them.
