Weight makes a difference, with a trail tech and yoshi pipe mine has read 74, but don't know how accurate the computer is. I do know that at 200lbs, my top end is higher than my buddy at 265 riding my bike. 14 tooth sprocket will get you more mph.

Must be broke in right because its faster than his. Actually I wouldn't even consider it broken in with only 40 miles of 1st and 2nd gear riding. And I'm not tearing it up, I'm making it better!
Upandcoming....why do you say a raptor only goes 71? I just told you mine does 75.

Well now that we are really off topic here and all of the 15 yr olds seem to be bashing eachother, let's get back to the question. As to how to get your raptor to have a higher top end, either get a larger front sprocket, smaller rear sprocket, or larger tires. That is of course if you want to keep it stock. ALL raptors are not the same, some will do 69, some will do 72, some will do 76. Some bikes are just faster than others. And we need to not always believe the magazines, they do usually give us some good information and tech tips etc. but not everything they say is always true. My .02

By the way, I am 15, too, and I guarantee I can not only keep up with you, but beat you! By the way, Dirt Wheels is not always right, because top speed varies!!!!! Dayum, what does it take to get that through you guys heads.
