Default Reverse Light Blink

A buddy of mine recently bought an '03 Raptor and i convienced him to come race with me at our local track in an N.A.M.E. MX race. That morning we decided to take out his baffle [god, i dont even wanna get into that, we ended up breaking the baffle in half to get it out. The end has these little wings that lodge in the pipe or sumthin, and that thing would NOT come out.... but yet with a pipe wrench, some muscle, and MAD determination, we got it out] and we had gone through one practice, and were in the first Moto and we were on the gate beside eachother warming up. Then he looked over at me and said, "DUDE, my reverse light is blinking, what the he11?!". The reverse light WAS blinking and it sounded like he was idling high. So i told him to turn it off and back on right quick before we started and see if that helped. He did and about 5 seconds after he turned it on, it started again. It did it the 2nd race too... whats up with that?

Don't worry about it.
By reving it up he triggered a test the service techs use.
It's not a problem.

yeah I have that once in awhile if you rev it up with out moving, if it does it again just roll the wheels forward and it will go out.
