My friend has a 2000 Polaris Scrambler 500 4wd. He just got done doing some motor work to it. He had the head ported (not sure who did it, not our shop), bored it .020 over with a higher compression piston (not sure what compression ratio), put a cam in it (not sure what kind or if valvesprings), put a clutch kit in it, put a bigger carb on it (40 or 42 I believe, jetted it right, put a K&N on it w/ outerwear and no lid, and a full DG Xcellerator exhaust on it. He was running it on a mix of 100 and 91 gas.

Anyway, I thought he would hang with my piped Rappy, or at least hoped he would. But we went out to a paved road and raced 4 times and I consistently beat him by about 20 bike lengths, at least!

I guess I will have to look for more serious competition after a get my next mod tommorow, hehehehe.........

Wow, you just beat an atv that weighs in at nearly 600lbs. Next time, race something that is at least in your own class.

Clutch- I would come riding with you tommorow, but I just pull started it today for that one race. Did someone say redneck? lol I'll get it fixed sometime....

Upandcoming- I am 15 too, turn 16 on the 8th. What all is done to your Raptor? Who knows, if you come to Little Sahara, I will definetly give it a go.
