lol it thought it a little ironic that yamaha cut 210cc's and were still able to put the hurt on their old model. Nice they are doing the R&D though. The bigger motors might be better with heavy mods like turbo's and nitrous, but damn...its funny sh*t

It is pretty funny. I dont really see anything good about having 660cc's except saying mine has more than yours. But when u get smoked, the fun is gone. I never liked raptors, never will. I hope this 450 quad will be better.

since i race xc and harescrambles w/ my raptor, i know it gets no respect. what i love, is the looks i get from the ex's and z's when i blow by them going up hills and across muddy sections. the raptor has amazing torque. something that is sometimes more important than just hp #. i have raced 4 times this year and have finished 7,6,6,and 10th in the overall out of 75 to 90 quads. it's not always what you ride, it's how you ride it. to each his own i suppose...

Where did you read this? From what I have read the YZ "seems to be a little quicker" through the lower gears (ovbiously just gearing is the reason) however the Raptor was still "faster" on the topend.

now - why would you say that? Just curious..

They forced me to purchase my Raptor at the dealership. What happened is I drooled on it and the stain couldn't be removed and before I knew it 3 salesmen hogged tied me up to a street bike and threatened to drag me around if I didn't sign a bunch of papers.

Dam, I had to give in to the pressure all because of my drooling problem. So now there is no way I am going to go look at any Yamahas.

See Mr.. Honda drooled too, that's why he always carried a rag.

Yeah Beech and 87 I know what you mean, I have always hated Banshees thought they were the ugliest quad made, little has been done to them to change my mind!

They look better than mine and are faster than mine, don't handle quite as good but two out of three is pretty darn good.
