Ya but you guys arnt considering all the factors. Pipe a Raptor you get 10 HP EASY! Pipe the 450 I doubt you'll even get 5! The only reason the 450 has all the extra power is cause it WASNT detuned like the Rappy was, if the Rappy wasnt detuned it would smoke everything and be wayy to powerful for the average buyer which means they wont sell very many. Minor mods on a Rappy and you'll smoke the 450 easy. The 450 engine is basically built up from the factory, theres no point to build up the engine yourself cause you wont gain that much from it, but with the Rappy you get TONS which I think makes it more worth the money. You'll never get 60+ HP from the 450 but you can easily achieve it from the bigger bore Rappy! just my 2 cents.

you banshee boyz sound as bad as the Honda guys...don't be a playa hata.

by the way...do you know how much research went into the 450? all the coin the Raptor owners dropped...probably paid for it. the 660cc was pulled out of the closet...dusted off...and a quad was born. just like the banshee engine. they're both old motorcycle engines.

one thing we can all agree on though...Yamaha isn't afraid to put their neck out there. i salute them for still carrying a killa 2 stroke...oh yeah, the banshee's pretty cool to. but a blaster is the best quad out on the market for a kid or young teen. hands down. they've beat alot of people to the punch. and yeah...admitedly they have the occassional problem from the rush to market.

but i'd rather be dealing with that than riding a quad designed 15 years ago while waiting through endless rumors of quads that might come...or might not.

interestingly enough, my local Honda dealer said he doesn't expect a new quad from Honda this year. and the next one they're expecting will be in the 600cc class. Now in regards to other questions regarding diffrent topics...this guy did'nt seem to knowledgable. so i would'nt put much weight behind that statement.

Even when my local Yamaha dealer could'nt confirm the new 450...he still gave me the suspicious grin. giving me a clue something was coming. at first i thought he was just light in the loafers. now it all makes perfect sense.

your slow. Go ahead and get yourself all started up, ok now get out of my way slowbie. LOL.

Your saying a 450 cant put down 60 horses? I disagree.

Bubba, your making some pretty childish excuses as to why the 450 is a better motor. How its not the raptors fault that the factory made it better/faster/smaller. That the 450 isnt detuned...yadda yadda. If it was detuned what would be the point of buying it!!!!

Oh and banshee's are one of the ugliest bikes out. Whats up with the vertical grill!

LOL beach you must get nothing more done than sitting around and trying to get under the skin of the 4 stoke guys!

Ow and by the way I have alot of weed-eating to get done, you dont suppose I could throw a strap on your quad and borrow it for a while do ya!
