exhaust and brake problems?
#1
My disc brakes in the rear are squeeky. i have never owned a quad that had had disc brakes before. i was told by a friend that it is just the nature of disc brakes to be squeeky. Is this true? also Iwent for a quitte a long ride the other day and found some water. At the end of the day I noticed that the ehaust pipe by the rear tire changed color quite a bit. Its now balck and brown, not the nice shiny color it was when it was brand new. Is this a normal occurance?

Both the things you have just stated are true. Your brakes squeal because it is the natural nature of the brakes. What happens when you put metal on metal? squeaky squeak. or you could tyr new pads if it makes you feel better. Your pipe changes color because the heat of the pipe and the cooler water makes the pipe steam and the paint/chrome cannot handle it and changes color.
