how is the banshee handling compared to the new sport quads (predator, DS 650...etc)? also, is the 2 stroke engine ok for the cold weather of the winters here ( about -15c to -30c) ?

 

I've never ridden a banshee, but hope someday I'll get the chance.

 

handles alright. No 250r, but the shee is pretty low to the ground, so it isnt bad. The engine has never failed me at sub zero temps. Cold engine runs better in my mind.

handles fair. nice and kinda low so u get good handling and not very topheavy.

 

My 2002 handles like crap! Only good on a smooth road...when you come to any whoops you better slow down because that's when the 80's suspension rears its ugly head![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

I rode a banshee and the handling was **** poor, I didn't like the suspension, the motor runs great though...lol!

 

It runs great as everyone knows but they handle like a dumptruck compared to other sport quads. They aren't really top heavy they just don't turn very good and the suspension sucks. For a pretty light quad you'd think they'd turn better but that's what yamaha has the yfz450 for.
