Upandcoming, please go hurt yourself.

Banshee's are know for their lack of suspension and bad geometry. The shocks aren't worth shiz, the rear axle is too narrow and it just doesn't handle nearly as good as the new generation sport quads.

You can ride on the stock shocks for the banshee and they do stink but you have to ride the bike right for the shocks to work right!

So you have to do the work for the shocks, instead of them doing it for you. Thats an interesting concept, but I'm not buying it. Maybe they should just leave shocks off and we could just use are legs for suspension.

I have not ridden a predator, or z400, however I have owned a raptor and a ds650 baja. I now own two banshees, I ride in the sand, and to me the banshee handles just fine. I prefer it to the raptor, but I do think the ds was a bit better suspension wise.

I never ride mx, and only do desert type trails and dunes, for me the suspension works just fine, you have to ride the machine, and maybe have to work a bit harder, but it works.

The steering is a bit sluggish compared to the newer machines, but not a big deal to me.

It is old tech, compared to new tech, however the engine is what keeps this thing going. It is the attraction. I love my banshees, but will probably be purchasing another ds in the future.

Hope that helps.
