check your carb boots that slip onto your carbs they may be loose and go to ace hardwear and get some new clamps cause those are some cheesey clamps!

PS i had the same problem and sure enough they were not seated on there all the way!

Once I had that same problem on my car, and it turned out that an ignition wire was coroded (sp?) and when the wire heated up it expanded and then broke, effectivly opening the circuit. When the wire would cool down, the wire would move back into contact and close the circuit. Check to see if your wires are cut, or even pinched, and they could have coroded. Especially if it stayed wet for 2 months(!).

This may sound crazy but, also check the connection to the battery ... they are know to seperate also due to heat, vibration, etc. Just trying to think of every little thing 8)

Well I bought a new plug,, disconnected the parking brake wire to the clutch. Still nothing. The carbs are on fine.

My secondary on my coil is not testing out right. If this went out could it go out slowly like this? Or would it just go out. Because my problem went from not bad to bad to not even starting.

Thanks

I can just un-hook the electrical plugs going into the clutch and brake. Correct? If not how do people hook up the Hydraulic clutches?

OK,

I just got it to start. I ran ok for about a minute or two. I had to keep my hand on the throttle a little bit the whole time (Would not idle) then it started running really rough and barely starts again. When it does start, the only way I can keep it running is if I hold my hand on the throttle, but it is running really rough and missing reguarly.

Any thoughts?

My floats and carberator is clean, but I have had some problems before with gas leaking out the over flow tube. However they are not know and I just got down setting them to the manuels specs?

Well,

I cannot believe it but it looks like it was the valves. I just adjusted them and the thing is running perfect. I am going to go back out and ride it. I am still having a hard time beliving that the little bit they were out made the bike run that poorly.

We will see after the ride.

Thanks for all of your advice

Robbie
