powerband is the RPM range on a 2 stroke in which most of its HP is made. Its mostly up higher in the RPMs, especially on a banshee.

A powerband is when the engine reaches a certain rpm, at that rpm it starts to make more power, then say at idle. Or its optimum performance range. Practice with your quad doing straight line runs racking out the gears all the while keeping in mind where you feel the engine pick up the greatest power (powerband). It will help you to find where your power band is and throttle placement, as well as engine noise at the different rpm's. Once you find where your engine's powerband is you have the hard part done. Just put it in second or third gear and when you get your rpm's up to where you now no where your power band is just peg the throttle and pull back slightly to get the front end up. MAKE sure you are wearing a helmet!! Like everyone has said you will feel the pivot point where everything starts to be in balance, it takes time don't rush it that is how people get hurt. You must be comfortable with your bike otherwise you will just fall of the back. And practice practice!! It takes awhile to get it down.

anyone that wants be able to power wheelie on a blaster pretty much needs an after market pipe like an FMF or toomy or somthin of that mater. U dont need the silencer because that doesnt really give u any more power. The stock pipes power is just too soft and with new pipe it will be much more touchy so bye a pipe, and it also helps to try power wheeling up a slight hill because it is easier to get it up. and onece it is up then all u have to do is keep taping the throttle wene it starts to go down to keep it up and to get back down tap the rear brake. ITs not that hard. just be fearless.

power wheeling is easier on the transmission then what popping the clutch is. I power wheelie on the raptor a lot. of course it's easy when the front end is so light. lol

How did you crack a rib doing a wheelie? I’ve gone off the back probably 100 times (I suck at wheelies) and not hurt myself yet. I did put a hurtin on the rear fender and grab bar but all I got was dirty.

I haven't ridden any blasters with any other pipes. I wouldn't buy a new pipe just to gain one horse. Just put a filter on it and save your money for more mods.
