Well, my raptor is loading up on bottom end like putting around and if i pull the clutch in it will shut off or idle low till it catchs up, it smokes when i rev it in nuetral top end is fine, but i cant seem to pull it up in 3rd gear anymore, it sucks. Its way to rich or lean i dont kno. What does this sound like? What circut should i adjust? I have a raptor adaptor, dmc alien, and 165/170 3rd notch on the needle, 25 pilots and 2 1/2 L and 3 R.

If it idles low when you let off the gas and then recovers your idle is to rich.

Sound like you are a tad rich, I would recommend to adjust the needle to lean it out by one notch. Bump up the clip by one notch. That should do it.

you think the needle would help? cause it ran fine with no lid i still had the hesitation on bottom, but not as bad as it is now, and now i have no air box

yes it would since you took the lid off that create more air in and causing the engine to load up. When you mention you had lid on no probo right? then you took the lid off problem came right? So anytime you change the airflow the engine will load up if you don't make the adjustment to the carb.

Like I mention it earlier adjust the needle and you want to lean it out by one notch move the clip up on both slide.

Hopefully this will help you.

Also to let you know that when I had stock piston and bump up to 11.1 stock bore piston and stage one cam. I didn't even bother to adjust the carb till went out riding and it was loading up on low end to mid range then on top end it run fine. So I adjust the needles and the problem went away. Problem solve!

I think Alien use to have a dynojet kit and maybe the slide spring is part of the reason and may need to go up a notch on the needles.
It also sounds like his choke plunger might be hanging up.
