Blaster block off?
#1
My son was wanting to block off his oil injection on his blaster, and he was told that you could do it without the kit? He said you just pull the oil lines out from the side of the motor and put silcone on the small holes to seal it up, and remove the oil tank, and use a small vaccum plug to seal the carburator. Now, will leaving the pump inside the motor harm it without oil running through it? He wants to run maxima super m @ 32to1 ratio.
Does anyone ever done this and had success??????
Any info is greatly appreciated,
thanx,

Well, I believe the pump would still run, being it is driven by the motor. So just leaving it inside would still have the potential to break the plastic gear that drives the pump, sending the pieces into the motor. I could be wrong, but thats what I would think. I would just spend the $35 and buy the block off kit from Trenga Racing and not have to worry about it ever again.

The block off kit is a very good idea, ive heard many tales of the injector going bad and blowing the motor, but if your going to do it i would do it the right way. You can order a kit from Vitos for something like 30 bucks and it is fairly easy to install.
