Vinson 500 Auto Vs Kodiac 450
#1
Hi,
I'm trying decide whether to buy a Vinson 500 Auto or a Kodiac 450. My main considerations are ride/handling, reliability, features, and price. I would appreciate any comparison comments, or comments on either ATV.
Thanks

I've done a little bit of research on the Vinson. According to the critics, it doesn't have the most desireable rear suspension...but other than that, it seems to be a pretty good bike. Also, it (currently) has a $600 factory rebate that most dealers will take off the purchase price. www.lacyclesports.com gave me a quote on a 2003 Vinson Auto for $5200 out the door.
The Kodiak looks pretty nice, but I don't believe it has low range.

I ride a Grizz, my wife a Vinson auto 500, my daughter a Honda 350 es and my son a warrior. Befoer we bought the Vinson and the Honda we put many miles on the Kodiak. Although a good bike the Vinson won for our type of riding. AlsoI was still sour at Yamaha for their design of the newer Grizz.

my uncle has a vinson, i dont like the feel of it, although i went on a huge ride with a bunch of 4x4s i was like the only 2 wheeler, and that kodiak did very well for a 450, hardly got stuck didnt have trouble getting through mud, and its pretty quick also, if i get a 4x4 id either be that or a grizzly thats for sure
