No...it was rider abuse that caused hundreds of failures and led to a very expensive re-tooling/manufacturing of the trannies...DIE YAMAHA

You'd think that with all the 01 raptors out there who's tranny's messed there would be somekind of class action law suit against yamaha......does anyone know somekind of ratio of how many messed up? Like 1 out every 10 or something...

I heard of someone trying to sue them. But that would take LOTS of money to win against a corporate giant like Yamaha.
