Why do people get to bent out of shape when talking about this subject...personally I think 2 strokes and 4 strokes shouldn't even be compared to eachother...they are each in a class of their own and should be compared to quads in their same class....each have their advantages and disadvantages, but I don't think one is necessarily better than the other....

 

Well since 4 strokes suck in all..... I guess that's why the companies phased out the two strokes, because I bet they thought 4 strokes suck so they started making them right? I mean... None of the NEW 4 strokes are HALF AS GOOD as the 15 year old in technology two strokes, right? Then why are all the new race quads and bikes going 4 stroke? Why are the companies making them? Sure your Banshee or 250r or any two stroke might make 80 horse...... But I CAN HIT THE START BUTTON ON MINE EVERYDAY!!!..... Even if I had mine built up to 80 horse, I can still hit the button and fire right up. How many Banshees make that much RELIABLE power......... Like I said, I can just always hit the button...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

The companies are not phasing out two strokes...Governments are.

 

Well ok then, but can't you two stoke guys compliment the companies with what they have?(4 stroke) You never do see a two stroke guy compliment a four stroke no mater what's done to it..... this thread is a perfect example.

Ok, I didnt see ONE four stroke make it up $100 hill at the Cinders in AZ. 2 strokes climb that hill all day long. Piped 2 strokes. Nothing more.

Let me see one 4 stoker climb it on a regular basis, then I will give you props.
