Default best 686 kit

I have kept my mouth shut since FSWII, about Sparks Racing. I have been dealing with Curtis since the early 90's, he was working out of his garage in Lamont, Ca. In mine and all my buddies opinion Curtis is the best there is. Both of my Sparks bikes have been very fast and reliable. All of us are happy with Sparks Racing. He has a great group of guys working for him, Scott and Artie are very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The reason for the long wait is because Curtis does all his own porting and most of the engine work, so you get what you pay for. Take my advice, go with Sparks Racing.

I plan on getting the 686 Signature kit from Craycraft racing sometime this winter. I've already done some business with them and they have great customer service. A lot of people on the forums run Craycraft motors, and I have yet to hear anything negative on their 686 kit.

It's not written in stone, but I do see a pattern with the builders, Craycraft seems to have more builds in Texas, not suprising. Trinity seems to have more in the Southwest, as along with Sparks. My point is are people going with who's closer in relation to where they live?

Trinity was 30 minutes from my office. Great excuse to go blow a few hours during the day

By your last post, I believe you make my point, and I assume that's part of your reason for going with Trinity. If I lived in Fort Worth I would probably go with Craycraft, simply because it's close. I know this may not the reason for everybody, but I'm sure a large number will agree with me.

if time and money was not an issue, and I wanted an all out dragster..... I would fly out to Nebraska with my motor in a carry-on-bag and visit Zombie, Jay, and Mark Robertson
