Default Banshee or Predator?

Actually, as much as I dont want to start fighting again with the predator people, my brother is at the races right now, watching my cousin race his 91 banshee. It has fmf pipes on it and airbox mods, and is also jetted to those mods. He said there was some dude out there with a polaris predator just getting his *** kicked. My cousins banshee.................A banshee.............on the track......................was showing this predator up. From what my bro was saying, that thing was totally gutless coming out of the gate. The thing had no lowend. He was nailing the hell out of the rev limiter, just riding the ever living crap out of it, I heard it over the phone. He said that my cousin was totally flying over the jumps, and this predator was reaming the **** out of his bike, and was barely making the jumps. He got up next to a tricked out 400ex and went all crazy in the whoops and lost it right into a hay bail that was guarding the fence. My bro said he got the quad running again and rode it off the track, and the front end was all bent out of shape. He said there was no reason to have the damage it had, for hitting a hay bail as hard and fast as he did. I don't know. I think I am glad that I ended up with a yami. These predators are suppose to be pretty descent on the track, and from what my bro just witnessed, and from what I have witnessed in the past, I am not at all impressed. If I where still looking for a quad, theres no doubt in my mind which I would get.
Guess thats why my garage is full of blue!!
once again. don't want to start anything, just wanted to let y'all know what is going on right now on a track in spokane washington!

Default Banshee or Predator?

Wow, this thread has got a lot of b.s. in it. The title is Banshee or Predator so I guess the guys with preds naturally were trying to tell him the good points of their quads. In his first question it mentioned a shee and a yfz and didn't say nothing about a predator. Anyways as for the pred being 500lbs, it's been know for awhile now that was a misprint. There's a whole other thread about the misprint on this forum. As for at the weight goes the predator is actually lighter than a raptor. Now this is with both of them wet. I don't know why they even have a dry weight measurement know one runs a quad without fuel, coolant, oil, etc... So I wish they'd just throw that weight out of the specs. Anyways a predator weighs more dry than a rappy but wet a predator weighs 444 lbs to a raptors 451 lbs. So after you start actually riding the quads with all the liquids in them a predator is the lighter quad. Having said that there still going to be about 75 lbs heavier than the yfz450. If you really were talking about a predator, I would get it before a banshee especially if you're going to be on trails or a track much. If you can't decide between the yfz and shee then I'd pick the yfz because it's even better than the predator (which is one of the top performers). If you do any racing in pro production class then the size limit of 450cc's would eliminate the predator because it's a 500. Just get a yfz a different color than the one the other guy has.

-thats why I said it was 65 more pounds then the yfz. 350+65=?????? taaaaa-daaaaaaaa. The raptor is not tipsey as hell. Yes, it could be better, and yes the pred is not tipsy like the raptor, but the pred is still a polaris!! Ya know, from what I have seen, tipsy or not, the raptor was kicking the crap out of a predator out on the track. You just have to be mroe aggressive on the raptor. I'll tell ya what, both a raptor and my cousins banshee where whoopin on that poor pred pretty bad! That dude on the pred was really riding the crap out of it too. I heard him hiting the rev limiter a ton of times! Funny.
