Default YFZn question

For testing purpose we did run pump (91) Oct, and there where no problems. We where at Race town Wed and it was 113deg, and still no problems. For our test we had to run straite for 6hrs (138 miles) only stoping for gas and checking nuts/bolts.

Personally, once I start going to Glamis I will mix 50/50 just to be safe. We have put 20hrs on one running straight gas though.

How often do you stop for gas on those things? Just curious what kind of "mpg"..say...it gets? Compared to a raptor. Riding it pretty hard. It isnt worst then a banshee is it? How much does it differ from the raptor in that aspect? thanks!

oh, also, what would be the negitive affects of you running 91 oct. with the 13:1 piston, if there is indeed any negitive affects? If its not knocking or pinging, what could possibly go wrong?

If there is no detonation you do not need to run a higher octane fuel.

Default YFZn question

We stopped every 4 riders which is almost exactly 1hr. Now these riders include Kory Ellis, Dustin Nelson etc. Most are pro MXers so it is ridden very hard. I have not had the time to go the Barstow or Glamis and see how it does normally. I would have to compare it to a Banshee for fuel consumption. I usually got 2.5-3hrs on my mild modded Raptor at Glamis.

Pinging and detinating would be the only neg. effects. It hasen't done that with us.
