Default Raptor suggestions

i just bought a new 04 Raptor Saturday, White/Red, $5452 out the door. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions, tips, or recomendations for me.
Does the Raptor have any common problems i need to keep an eye on?
By the way, i don't race, just trail ride and hit some small jumps.
Thanks in advance.

I would definnetly get a pro flow with a K&N or foam filter to replace the worthless stock setup. Also, the one way bearing in the starter is known to go out, mine just did, so you may want to save up around 200 bucks for a new one if and when it goes out. Hope this helps, and congratulations on the, in my opinion, not bad mouthing any other bikes out there, the best ATV made!

If you can get good deal from your dealer, I would recommend buying the extended warranty. As WallStreet said, that one-way gear IS going to go out (mine did after about a year) and that will be enough to pay for most of your warranty. I also had mine paid for when a bolt came out of my oil reservoir and cracked the reservoir from bouncing around till I noticed it. And Raptor03Rider is right, the stock swingarm skids s*ck.

The first thing i did was bump up the tire pressure from stock to make the handling better as well as replace my stock grab bar which is made out of aluminum foil.
