Well they had a test with all the old 2 strokes and the Banshee was like 15.3 and the Quadzilla was like 15.09 bone stock. They both topped out in the high 70's and still ran almost 15 flat even with that low top end they must have been pretty quick in the 1/8th and that once again is stock no pipes or nothing!

The last time I raced an SCCA event (timed around cones parking lot course) there was a Subaru WRX that just made everyone else look stupid. Man that thing went around corners. Way back in '84 I bought a new Dodge Omni GLH (anyone remember those?) and really pissed off some BMW guys at the SCCA runs.

 

Dirtrider078, I agree with you about the neons, but that is what they said. I also dislike the cars that run around whith those park benches bolted to the trunk and the foldgers can under the rear bumper. I really don't care if the neons are faster but i think it is funny to see a neon beat the Japanese cars at their own game.

 

Is that 400 horse cobra the one that has almost no options, like they don't have ac or a stereo. that car would be almost undriveable here for half the year. Guess I'd have to settle for the 405 horse Z06 instead...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

No. The 400 horse cobra is the 03 Cobra.. it has any option you want... The one you are thinking of is the 2000 Cobra R, a track bred car..

 

i saw a nice older 5.0 yesterday, it was supercharged,piped,alot of edelbrock and boy that thing can smoke them tires..i think he only liives 2 blocks from me

 

im just saying the stang i ran only had pipes my friend had a stang that would pull low 10 in 1/4

 

look in the honda form crackhead wants to sell his R for a stang gt..i dont think he should..ford is going down hill in mustangs

 

the stang are doing good with no compettion from chevy
