Messed up my new YFZ 450 !!!!!!
PoolHustler:
I feel for you!
I did the exact same thing to my first Banshee when I got it.
My advice is simple. Do nothing to try and remove the haze. All you will do is make a bigger mess and become even more frusterated and upset.
Do what I did. Get a cool sticker (like FMF, White Bros., etc.) and place it over the haze. Once you do that, you will completely forget about your goof and the ATV will look like you never had any screw-ups.
Again, take my advice and don't turn this into a bigger mess!
Good luck!
Rob

ive been doing this for years.. that stuff can make you work all day untill you figure out the secret.... i used to work at a street/race bike shop in Dantona Beach, we would take off factory decals all day long and redo bikes etc....... heres the deal.. on any surfact thats NOT PAINTED.. like your colored plasitc... use Brake Cleaner.. just spray it on that have and it will run right off turns instantly into gel that wipes right off..DONT DO THIS ON YOUR CAR OR ANY PAINT.. it will instantly remove your paint.. but on clearcoated bike plastic works great.. just wipe if off and wipe it down with soap... dont want to leave that stuff on your plastic any longer than you need to but short application wont hurt anything... Brake cleaner.. thats the secret..
ps.. you lucky dog with that 450..
