I think so. I'd like to know how they compare in weight to a 160. They may be a hair lighter.

The two most common places a rim bends are at the outer edge (bead area) or near the hub mounting area. And a cylinder is always stronger than a flat surface. That is why stock wheels are so strong without being overly heavy. They are reinforced at the mounting area with 3 layers adding up to about .325" (.125+.100+.100). And the outer edge is a cylinder (the "rolled" part). It is simple physics. Not counting beadlocks or reinforceing rings, the only thing stronger are the aftermarket wheels that are .190 and have the rolled edge. These were the ITP T-9 "Edge" series. These are no longer being made. They have switched to using the reinforcing rings. The plain Douglas Ultimate wheels also have a rolled edge and .190 thickness throughout, and they are still in production. But they are expensive. It would be cheaper to buy a set of used stock wheels off Ebay.
