Should I wait 4 yfz second year
I saw a thread earlier that showed a taco-ed A-Arm from a jump from a new 450. He might have jumped like a goon or maybe not, said he has an hour on the quad. With the tranny problems the Raptor had, has?, I would wait a year and let them iron out the kinks. Gives you some time to save for hop ups on the new toy. The Raptor tranny has gone through three iterations since its inception, my 02 tranny being rebuilt as we speak.

Yes, check out the recent posts about the bent a-arms! And I don't think the rider was jumping like a goon. They said he was a GNCC racer, so it is not just some newbie out there tearing it up. Wait another w months, and if no other problems have come up, then go buy one. You will also save alot of money by waiting till all the price jacking the dealers are doing subsides.

I would wait.. no matter how good the quad seems to be the first year the manufacturer will always think of a way to improve it. As goes for any other atv, dirtbike, car, etc.
Also, even if the GNCC racer jumped the quad like a "goon" it still shouldnt look like that. Not every jump on an atv is gonna be perfect, it should be able to withstand a screw up (atleast a screw up for a GNCC racer). Yah, i would expect it to look like that if he cranked a tree at a good speed. Hopefully it just came with a lemon a-arm.
