side covers here

I was runnin thru the yamaha site and found these side covers... i wouldnt think they would effect performance, but they sure would look cool... especially the carbon fiber PRINT ones [even if they arent real carbon fiber]. Anyone know anything about em? i.e- Does anyone have them?

I've definetly thought about getting them. I already have the GYT-R Headlight Covers. So those side covers would probaly go good with what I'm currently running.

I run them and I think they look cool. they give a full fairing (R-1) look. The don't seem to do anything to performance. I did notice it kept some excess motor heat off my legs.

I went with the CF print. Defently something I have never seen before, NO REGRETS.

Why would you want to cover up that beautiful piece of machinery?

well, i guess you could look at it as either covering up... what? the carb? [cant really tell from the pics]... or look at it as another way to keep maybe a stray rock or sumthin from getting up in there. Different views for everyone.
