Soemone's gonna buy it and try to start it, and realize there is no engine components in it. lol. wouldn't that be funny "show bike" is just two case halves with a cylinder and head on it. "super light weight show bike". I guess someone wants it, there's 39 bids on it, and it's at $7800. to me, the more money I pay, the more mods it better have on it. I'm not paying abything over MSRP for an "original" quad.

I love this one:
"if you think your gonna buy it and ride it DON`T BID!!!! "
Screw you, dude. I'd buy it and ghost ride it into a train just to send him the video.

He prolly blew the motor up in 89 and thats why it hasn't been started since then.
I do wonder what the reserve is........"very high"?
I think the seller is very high.

Something else that I thought was odd was taking the chain off so it could be pushed easier.

I think the quad is owned by girl.

The 88 250r was the first r to have the new Ohtsu radials on them so yes, those are stock 88 tires. That is a sweet looking 250r but not ride it...NO WAY.

I think that is something wrong with the engine. I thought the entire engine was supposed to be black. Why is the cylinder bare? I could be wrong but I don't think so.

That is a sweet bike, what a waste for it to just sit around for the last 16 years. I hope someone does buy it and really does ride it, whether its on the mx track, dunes, or trails. A bike like that is meant to be ridden hard. The guy sellling it is probably real **** retentive about his stuff, the type of guy who puts plastic covers on his living room furniture

If someone wanted to give him a stroke, they could send an email stating that they are already a bidder, that they are emailing him from a different account so he wont know who’s bid to cancel and that they intend to mod it to he!! and back and ride the living pi$$ out of it. wow, nothing like paying 8k + for 1980's built bike.

Why spend that much on an old *** bike when you can spend less and get a WAAAAAY better bike?

oh, and you could ride a new bike

I dunno, 250r's never did anything for me. Never impressed me at all

don't get me wrong, it is a very nice looking bike, and the owner was smart to hold onto it this long
