Stock Wrist Pin With Wiseco Piston ?!?!

gotta polaris scrambler 400 i just rebuilt, the wristpin for the wiseco was lost so i used the stock one in its place... got everything back together and there is a very loud knock.... Did the stocker have too much slack ? Need answers ASAP. By the way its a 2 stoke.

I think I would tear it down just to be sure, did it feel like there was slop? The should be hardly none on the top, and very little from the bottom of the rod - but none on either end of the rod up or down.

Was the wristpin bearing ok. Make sure all the little needle bearings are in place. They once sent me a wrong wristpin bearing and like an idiot I was in a hurry to get it together so when I started it up it knocked like crazy.
