I agree 100%! Yamaha is the smokin gun in the ATV Industry. And I see no light at the end of the tunnel as far as the competition catching up anytime soon.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

I with you, my quad isen't the best but I still win at the track? I like yamaha, if it wasen't for the I would have never got my ds!

 

I forgot the DS sorry. Is the DS classified as a ATV or a SUV??

 

yeah none of those quads would exist if it werent for raptor, which is funny its still dominating and everything else has 3-4 years on it...very funny

I will agree, Yamaha has been giving the public what it wants. But, I know of another company that is listening to their owners and building better SUV's [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

suv i thought you guys called them the bus. man it's hard to keep up with all these changes.

 

but the thing is....atleast bombardier can build an SUV that wins just about every event that comes about....ummm.....dsmike ruled the flat drags at 4SW...i think Air won the hill not for sure....but Dunedevil and forgot the other ones conneciton name but they were the top dogs at the summer nationals...ppl may rag on the ole' ds for being a dang tank but these are some extremely fast tanks.....i mean even though they are big..i can control my ds in the air like i can a banshee,raptor,400ex etc...no prob and i only weigh 180lbs so im little compared to the other riders i see on ds's....i can air out my ds like i can any other quad...me and quadman650 were jumping a good 15ft up and a good 30+ft down a dune at little sahara not even bottoming out the shocks...now on a 400 you would have..but not the ds...i mean you got to give the ds a little support they have come a long ways for being as big as they are...

Hmmm, that's funny, I distinctly remember the originator of Polaris telling me the Predator started in '99. Oh, well, enjoy the 450, nice bike.

 

The Blaster and the Banshee came out in the mid to late 80's and still today selling strong. The Raptor was Yamaha's first big 4-stroke racer to compete with the DS and out sold them, and today the YFZ 450 racer is hard to keep on the show room floor because they are selling so fast.

I still say the Banshee is the only quad in history that just simply hauls !!s, and outsold everyone else!
