Yamaha is on a roll now

so is this a sure thing for honda in the fall? I love seeing new quads come out and reading about them. I have a ds-650 and am very happy with it. It's not the fastest out of the box quad, and it's not even the heaviest anymore, but it fits me fine. and in the end isn't that what we want most.

I heard from a reliable source today that honda is indeed going to release a new sport quad shortly. I am not going to hold my breath but honda is going to offer a quad in direct compition to to the yamaha. I am not anti-honda my kid has a 250ex and there is a fourtrax250 from 1986 hanging around.

Well they do have the CR250 dirt bike that "competes" with the YZ250.....You can compete without being quite as good. After riding a YZF450 and a CRF450 as well, they also compete. The blue bikes are just better, that's all....IMO

Every banshee i have raced on the YFZ450 I have beat(3) and they all say that they would buy the YFZ if they could. As for the 250R, yes it has been awsome for years and I have yet to drag one or have track/hillclimbs comparisons with one, but I know that the 450 has more top end , bottom(by far), and mid, end of story.....(nothing against the 250R, I have only ridden one once and I think they are second only to the YFZ)

haha, thanks for the compliments. There are banshee's out there that are faster, but it usually takes a larger displacement motor to beat me.
Banshee doesnt stand a chance against a 250r on a mx track, and the banshee's are losing ground in the drag racing industry as well.
