Is this going to be the Craycraft winter project? I hope so, Craycraft needs to bring something to the big events to take the Sparks bikes out of the lead. It's cool if they win once in a while, but dang, every time? You think someone could build something to beat it. You think you can take them?

I have witnessed a 125 hp Kawi 650 so why not a 100 hp Raptor. Big bore, stroked crank nitro methane with a little juice to put it over the edge sure why not. Better yet a 100 hp Grizz that would be interesting........oh yea!!!!!!

 

Joey Henderson run a 3.57 in 200ft. with nitros with his new Trinity 727 on Nitros. I dont know what his HP is but i would say with that time in 200ft. it could reach the mid 4's in 300ft. His bike(very nice) can be seen on www.atvdra.com in the (members rides) topic in the forums. Slim

You guys with drag racing in your blood will stop at nothing to get your bike to run faster than **** for 5 seconds. That's cool cuz you guys are doing the real world R&D for the rest of us. It's cuz of you all that we know when to STOP building our engines.

I think we are gonna see an explosion in the turbo / quad applications.

BTW, Congrats to 14mins. 5000 posts tonight [most likely]. It's taken me 3 years to bust 500 and I was on this sight so often I've thought about seeking professional help. Do you pay employees to post for you??

 

Adam- your impression of what sparks raptors are like is tainted by the internet reviews. Your quad would run close to theres. It is not a winter project, it will be up and running in less than 3 weeks

Killercuda and wallstreet- It is not mine. (i wish) . The machine shops charge a arm and leg to cnc parts and there are going to be spares. It is going to be a single purpose machine, no hillshooter. Projects like this are fun cause you get to push the envolope far out there. Raptorcr (ryan) has the fastest raptor i have ever seen or ridden with and this new one should make his look like it is a stock rappy. It is going to be bigger than 700cc's and smaller than 830cc[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] This one will change the direction that hi-po motors have been done on the raptor. There are going to be some cool parts offered for sale when this one proves it salt on the strip.
